What a great question! In a world where we have so many choices and the ones we do have are so limited, where so many of the things we do are designed to make us feel like we are in control, I think it is so important for our minds to have a solid foundation of self-awareness.
What we have now, in a world with so much information and choices, is an amazing foundation of self-awareness. Self-awareness is the ability to recognize when we are in a rut and not being pushed around by life.
When it comes to self-awareness, we don’t have a lot of choices. We have our current lives, our jobs, our relationships, our friends and hobbies. So we have to find a way to get our self-awareness back. We have to start from the ground up. In other words, if we’re not self-aware, we’ll not know what to do.
Ben Rosales is an expert in this area. He’s a writer, entrepreneur, and a meditation teacher. He has written a book called “Self-Awareness: From the Ground Up” that covers the self-awareness process. In it Ben talks about the importance of self-awareness, and how he believes it is the most important part of the “whole” that makes us a human.
He also uses this same process in his daily life when he practices meditation. He says he doesn’t meditate, but meditates on his life, and that the practice of meditation helps him focus on things that are important to his life.
I am a meditation teacher as well, and I can see how this process of self-awareness can be helpful. I see it as being a means to focus on your life. The idea that you have to figure out what goes on inside of you to know why things happen or what your goals are can be daunting. But its easier said than done.
We don’t have to struggle with that. The real problem for most people is that they always have trouble finding the right words to explain what their meditation is about. The practice of meditation helps give us more clarity, but also more confusion. Some people think meditation is the perfect form of self-awareness as they can just sit there and just focus on their breathing, but that just isn’t true. We can’t just sit and try to focus on our breathing.
The trouble with meditation is that it is a form of self-awareness, not self-knowledge. What meditation is really about is focusing on the experience of the moment, the “now”. It is about being aware of what is happening in your body and mind at that particular moment. The problem is that we have to focus on the moment as it is. We cant step back and watch it as it unfolds.
Ben Rosales is a very smart and accomplished programmer, but he’s also a very stubborn character. He believes that if you are too focused on the moment, you miss the big picture and it might be the wrong moment. This was one of the reasons why he is so mad that certain people with his knowledge of game design were trying to discredit his ideas. It’s a shame because his ideas are great, but they’re a bit of an over-reach.
We all know that Ben Rosales is one of our favorite developers, but he is also more like an architect designed as a player. He is very aware of the needs of the players and what his design should do to satisfy those needs. This is something that many designers lack and that he has a great knack for.
