I am a big fan of listening to audiobooks. I enjoy the audio content not only because I’m a big fan of audiobooks, but also because I’ve found that I enjoy it more when I can choose to listen to one of the few audiobooks I’ve been able to listen to over and over again.
I love audiobooks. Its a great way to get lost in a good story. I love listening to audiobooks because I love the history behind the stories. The way audiobooks tell their stories is often through the voice of the author. The best audiobooks are ones that are well written. They tell their stories with clarity and don’t try to embellish the plot.
I was really excited when I finally got the chance to hear Audible’s new audiobook of Frederick’s “The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes.” It was a great read. I’ve always wanted to read the “The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes” so I was excited to hear that the book will be available for free download. However, I also have a very serious question about the quality of the audiobook.
Audible’s audiobooks are available for free for all listeners. But the audiobook isn’t always that well written. Fredericks The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes is. It was written by Christopher Barrie, but the audiobook is not available in English. When it comes to the quality of the book, not having English narration on a book that has over 400,000 words is pretty bad.
I suppose the best way to address this is to hear the author read his book. The audiobook is narrated by Christopher Barrie. So if you would like to read the book on audiobook, its available on Audible.
I’ve read the book, and I love Christopher Barrie’s narration. He has such a great voice, it’s just really, really good. I don’t know how Barrie does it, but he does. All the different narrators have done a nice job.
While I can’t say I’ve listened to the audiobook, I can’t say the reader’s voice isn’t better than mine. I prefer Barrie’s, but since I’m the publisher of the audiobook, I do not get to choose my narrator, so I give it to him.
Christopher Barries is one of those narrators that seems to really understand his characters. I’m always amazed at how his voice and mannerisms feel so natural to the listener. Barries may have an accent, but that doesnt stop him from having a great voice. Although I have to say, I think he’s made the transition from UK to USA to make his voice more American. I am a huge fan of audiobooks.
I think it’s safe to say that Barries does a good job of capturing the personality of the narrator, which is a pretty important skill for a narrator. It’s also pretty clear that he was a fan of the audiobook when he read the story to me. The voice of Christopher Barries is one of those narrators that I would love to have be the voice of one of my characters.
