She has trained thousands of meditators all over the world, and is a master of the discipline and method of sitting, which she calls “meditation.” She is a certified teacher of Yoga, Meditation, and Zen Buddhism, and is a respected writer of books and training courses on these subjects. She has spoken and taught worldwide on the subject of life, work, and spirituality.
I’m not the best person to ask for advice on mindfulness. I’m a firm believer in “paying it forward,” and to me, mindfulness seems like the obvious path to a happy, healthy life. Heather seems like the perfect person to talk to because she has the right temperament for this kind of thing. She is a very warm, compassionate person, and has a genuine desire to help people.
It is a bit of an art to find that special person and get her to teach you. That way you are one step closer to finding the truth. Unfortunately, that is not easy. Heather is a lovely person, and I have a feeling she would be a great teacher. I am not sure what course she teaches, but her bio page says “she is a dedicated teacher, who has been trained in mindfulness.” This might be the best advice I can give to someone looking for a teacher.

It’s not a bad idea to take some time to just sit with your own thoughts. It’s a long way from feeling stuck to feeling totally free. Heather is a great example of someone who is trying to teach people. She is also very open to feedback. I have been a student of Heather for several years and I am always impressed with the quality of her students.

I love Heather because she has a really great energy and I find myself having a lot of fun with her classes. She is also trying to set up her own school where everyone can learn to do the things she teaches and I think that is a really great idea.
