From the popular TV shows to the most popular book to the most popular song…the list goes on and on. The truth is that we are constantly processing, learning, and developing. We are constantly living. But what is interesting is that we tend to be ‘so comfortable’ in our current state that we sometimes forget that we are always growing and evolving.
The problem with our old habits is that they inhibit our ability to learn and grow. As a result, we often feel like we’ve lost the ability to learn or change. It’s as if we’ve run out of ideas.
The reality is that our old habits are just that: old habits. It might be good to start a new habit, but like the old habit of smoking, it will eventually quit. But for our habits to be successful, they need to be good ones. For example, I could start a new habit of eating clean. But I’m not going to start a new habit of eating clean unless I understand what it is that I like and dislike about eating clean.
The same goes for our old habits. We need to be honest with ourselves about our old habits, and our old habits need to be honest with themselves. We need to know what we like and dislike about them. Then we can start to change them.
I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about your old habits. This might not be the way to start a new habit of eating clean, but it might be the way to start a new habit of changing old habits.

Well, we can see the impact of these habits on our health. As we age, our body becomes less able to make key hormones. So we get weaker, especially on our heart and immune systems.
So what are our old habits? We tend to eat a lot when we have a lot on our plate. We eat fast food when we’re stressed and tired. We often forget to eat when we’re hungry. We tend to eat fast food when we’re tired and stressed. So here we have an old habit that we can take back.
That’s a great idea. I recommend taking a look at the new book “Eat Fast, Live Longer”, because it is filled with many great ideas to be mindful of so that we can eat well throughout our lives. In particular, this section on eating fast food is a good one to start with.
