I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve never been able to make a good salsa. I know I could use some help.
I thought this would be fun to try out during my last week of school. I’m currently the “Salsa Master” (well, I guess you could call me that) for a group of kids called plaza drugs. So far so good. I like how I can use the microphone on my phone to talk, and I’m not afraid to use the microphone up close.
Thats about where we are right now. Just finished practicing the song. And I love the fact that the camera just follows me around.
So far so good, but as you can see from the video, there are times when I have to stop and use my mic to ask for the light, or just talk. It helps that I had practiced before I started, so I could use that mic voice to talk in a way I would normally have to try to explain with my mouth. The only problem I have with this is that I have to take my phone out when I eat something, which might be annoying to some.
Yeah, I have a problem with that, too. Because of the way my body moves, it’s very easy to eat something that I shouldn’t. That would also be a problem with a big belt or a jacket, which means that I have to move and eat faster. The other thing is, I’m a guy who is always hungry. I don’t generally get hungry when I’m not, but I know I’m hungry when I’m hungry.
You might be thinking that this is a contradiction in what I just wrote, so I will explain. First, let me say that the best way to take my phone out while eating is to take your shoes off. This prevents the food from getting into your shoes so you can continue eating. In addition, you can wear the shoes that I just described, because they are very comfortable to wear.
Ok, back to what I was trying to say. If you don’t eat your dinner, you will feel full. You will not actually gain weight, however, because you will be digesting your food. It’s like how you feel on the verge of a binge, but not really on the verge. This may seem like a strange thing to say, but I have heard that it’s quite common for people who are overweight and in need of a quick snack.
I think this is a bit of a red herring. You don’t actually gain weight by eating a meal, but just by digesting what you ate. There are all sorts of foods that you can eat in moderation that are not generally thought of as “diet foods.” There is an obesity epidemic today (and it is real), so I’m not sure why people are freaking out about this.
In my opinion, it’s a false sense of security. When people are stressed out or worried about their health, it makes sense to seek out food that can enhance their mood and feel good. But when you feel like you could use a quick pick-me-up, you dont necessarily gain weight.
A study of people who went on a high-fat, high-protein diet found that the participants lost an average of 6 pounds. But in the study, the participants ate a lot more food per day than those who ate a low-fat diet and they lost less weight. So in my opinion, its a false sense of security that eating anything that is high fat and high protein can bring long-term weight loss.
