Personally I think this sauce is a lot less complicated than the original version. It uses the same ingredients, but it’s an easy, quick meal that doesn’t require any special knowledge of Italian cooking. It’s still incredibly tasty though.

Sure, you can make a great Bolognese from a ton of different ingredients, but why would you? You can also make a great Bolognese from the same ingredients but in the same proportions, but it would be more difficult to do it in a restaurant.
Venci is basically tomato sauce without the spices, plus you add meatballs and cheese. And you can make your own meatballs with leftover spaghetti, but I don’t think you can make a good Bolognese without meatballs.
If the meatballs are what youd want then yes, you can make a good Bolognese. But if you want meatballs that are not just meatballs, you will want to make a venci.
